Apply to Become a Home Owner

HOW TO APPLY TO BECOME A HABITAT HOMEOWNER

Step 1
Download/print a Homeownership Application or obtain an application packet from MHfH office.

Step 2
Gather all necessary documents to complete the Homeownership Application.

Step 3
Submit a completed Homeownership Application to the McHfH office.

Step 4
Wait to hear from the Family Selection Committee--typically this will occur within one month of Application turn-in. One of three scenarios will occur: 1) You will receive a letter requesting additional information. 2) You may receive a denial letter. 3) You may receive a call asking to schedule a home visit.
