Step 2
Attend a Family Orientation Meeting to learn about Habitat and obtain
application materials.
Orientation Meetings are held twice a year - Fall & Spring.

for information & dates of upcoming Orientation Meetings.
Step 3
Submit a completed application, including
copies of all required documents.
Step 4
Attend a Financial
Review Meeting to see if you meet Habitat's financial
qualifications.
Step 5
Schedule a "home visit" with the
Family Selection Committee where an interview and a
housing condition survey will be conducted.
In some cases the Family Selection Committee
may request additional documents, interviews,
or visits with the applicant family.
Step 6
Wait for the Macomb Habitat Board of Directors to make its decision. The decision is based on
each family's application materials and the recommendations of the
Selection Committee.
