Habitat for Humanity is an international non-profit Christian housing ministry.  Its primary mission is to eliminate poverty housing in our world.

Macomb County Habitat for Humanity is the local, county-wide affiliate of Habitat International.  Our goal is to make decent, safe shelter in Macomb neighborhoods a cause for conscience and action. Arm-in-arm with  generous and supportive  individuals, churches, schools, businesses and corporations, Macomb County Habitat has been building  houses with Partner Families since 1993.

We believe a hand up - not a hand out - is the way to improve lives and communities.
