More about Habitat...
|
Habitat's History:
Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1976
by Millard and Linda Fuller in Americus, Georgia with the purpose of providing
low-income families a unique opportunity for home ownership. The concept
worked so well that it was expanded throughout the United States and is
now a worldwide phenomenon. Its popularity has been enhanced by the endorsement
of many prominent people, including former president Jimmy Carter.
